Destiny International Travel was started in 1993 by Kim Ulavale on the premise that nothing beats personalized service, experience, and attention to detail. While many Internet sites promise special deals, travelers are often unaware of restrictions, exceptions, and fine print. Making the right choices based on price alone is not always the best course of action for travelers. We hear too many stories of travelers regretting that they didn't call us first.

Kim recognized the need for experienced agents in the Internet age. While many agents succumb to the pressure of bargain Internet sites, Kim recognized the niche for knowledgeable, experienced travel professionals. She knew that travelers would appreciate the values of a full-service travel agency. Many travelers have learned that they actually saved money by seeking the help of an experienced travel professional.

Kim has spent over three decades in the travel industry. Starting off in 1979 in an agency in Cleveland, Ohio, Kim has not only been a reservations agent but has coordinated international travel and escorted groups overseas for an international missionary organization.  After moving to Everett, Washington in 1991, Kim knew she could best serve travelers by creating her own agency. She was determined to prove that her agency could provide better service and value than any other means of travel planning.

After 9/11, when many travel agencies were forced to close their doors, Kim made the decision to focus on a specific niche:  Sun & Sand Destinations.  Her goal is to visit as many of these tropical countries as possible enabling her to give her clients the best first-hand information.  Her travels have included numerous trips to Mexico, the Caribbean, the South Pacific, and living in Hawaii for several years. Cruising has also become a major part of her business.  Kim's expertise is what you need to plan your next sunny vacation!
